Infective Hospital of Albania is an important landmark of the biggest hospital complex in Albania. This facility built in 1959 was at the forefront of COVID 19 treatments, but being an old building, it was ill-prepared to face similar challenges in the future. Consequently this building is going to be renovated completely full with new equipment and among these interventions new HVAC systems were required. These new systems are now a state of the art and many of them implemented for the first time in Albania. Albenecon was the company that assisted the design group in the taking the correct energy efficiency measures and ensuring the obtaining of the unconditional acceptance by the Albanian Energy Efficiency Agency. Consequently, the full rehabilitation of this building is now under way and the works will be inaugurated soon.
